Ashley Commercial Group is seeking a zone change to permit partial
commercialization of 85 acres near Amsterdam Road in Villa Hills. The proposed development would include 202 apartments, 187 of which will be located in a four-story building surrounded by 300 parking spaces 50 feet from the Carpenters Trace subdivision. The proposal also includes commercial buildings with up to an additional 15 apartments.
The proposed development will end the era of Villa Hills as a bedroom community and unreasonably impact traffic throughout the city.
We, the citizens of Villa Hills, respectfully Petition City Council to deny the requested zone change and ensure that Villa Hills remains a community of single family homes.
